There is nothing like the sweet smell of a newborn’s skin, the way his lips purse as he senses his mother’s touch, and the way mama cradles him gently as if she’ll never let go. What a gift to be able to spend time with this little miracle for a few short hours and absorb a little bit of his sweetness. I treasure each one of the babies I am able to photograph, and this little guy was no exception.
