Letters to Our Daughters | June 2013

Now please visit the blog of my dear friend Sarah Cornish of My Four Hens Photography to see her letter to her daughters. She is one of the sweetest mothers I know and is incredibly talented on top of that. These photos were processed with Sarah’s new Happy Helpers Action Collection that were just released yesterday. They are amazing!

Sarah C - Oh Amy, I felt like I could have written so much of this. I have had the same sentiments over and over. A big fear, is that these wishes I make for my girls, these wishes my girls make for themselves will bring disappointment and then I remember that is the magic of life. Making our own path and working for our wishes. You really are a blessed mama, and your girls are equally blessed. To have you there always is probably one of the most amazing gifts they will ever receive. The true weight of motherhood on a child’s life is one of those profound things that both our children and we as mama’s just don’t fully appreciate until time kind of marches on and we have a moment to catch our breath and look back. I feel so blessed to have you as a friend. So blessed. And thank you SO much for your kind words. If I could hug you I absolutely would. Consider this a big ol cyber hug, until I get to give you the real thing one day. I do hope our paths cross in person!ReplyCancel

Kirsty - Awww Amy, your wishes are just perfect because look at that precious little soul, there, out in the world forging her own way and making her own wishes – she is so blessed to have you there, right behind her holding her hand through them until she can wish and achieve in the big world by herself – and those pictures are as perfect as alwaysReplyCancel

Ginger Unzueta - This is so beautifully said Amy. I can relate so much to this. I think of my life and as I look back I see so many blessings God bestowed on me, not always even deserving, yet His grace is so big and abundant. I pray my children, will have a life filled with the same love and happiness I look back on. And the love so great that they have given me. You share so much here with your sweet one..and I know she can feel it too. You are a gracious and big loving mama and that is the start they all need. Thank you for sharing your heart.ReplyCancel
