It’s here. The very last week of 52 weeks. Hooray! I posted a photo every Sunday for the last year. At times I was so ready to move on from this project, so ready to try something new and just forget about it. But if I commit to something, I must honor that commitment. And in the end, of course I’m glad I stuck it out. I wouldn’t have some wonderful photos of my own children that I can cherish for years to come. After all, that’s what its all about — capturing this wonderful thing called childhood and creating images and memories that will last a lifetime. I did this project for me, but I also did it for them — for my own children, my grandchildren, and my great grandchildren. Thank you to all of those who commented on my blog, who sent little encouraging notes, and who mentioned it to me when a photo of mine touched you. It meant the world to me.
